We’re proud to be based in one of the world’s most lively, innovative and culturally rich cities. If you’ve ever been, you’ll know what we mean. If this is your first time, prepare to fall in love with Dublin.
A compact city nestled at the mouth of the River Liffey, Dublin is a mix of incredibly rich history, modern innovation and of course, nighttime fun. Easy to reach by air from across the world, Dublin is also very simple to navigate. Two canals bookend the main city, while the Liffey bisects it.
Take a trip to one of the many medieval castles and cathedrals on display, including Dublin Castle, our unique venue, stop for a bite in one of the many world class restaurants dotted around the city, indulge yourself with a little shopping or, if you’re extending our stay, venture out of the city to the surrounding mountains, lakes and countryside.
As capital of the ‘island of saints and scholars’, Dublin has a rich history of storytelling. The ghosts of literary giants like Joyce, Yeats, Wilde, Kavanagh, Behan and others who have called the city home give Dublin a vibrancy that’s unlike any other city. Storytelling is part of Irish people’s blood, so it’s the perfect place to welcome storytellers and creatives from across the world.
We’re also home to a booming technology, media and innovation sector. Known as Europe’s ‘Silicon Valley’, Dublin houses the European HQs of Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Slack and countless other media and technology companies, while our indigenous startups feed off the wealth of talent and experience that goes along with this.
And then of course there’s the nightlife. Sure, it’s a cliche, but the Dublin welcome, sense of humour and the famous ‘craic’ is not to be found anywhere else in the world. Settle in for a pint of Guinness beside the fire, sample a world class cocktail, elongate the night at one of the innumerate late watering holes or simply spend the evening listening to some live music. It’s fair to say that Dublin’s fair city caters for all tastes once the sun goes down.
